Hi I’m Chris,
I am a mama and a therapist living in a sea side village in Tasmania. After having my son I became even more aware of the large amounts toxic dyes and plastic in baby products and packaging. I found it almost impossible to buy non toxic, eco friendly baby products in Tasmania and I began journey sourcing quality, ethical sourced baby products.
I am originally from a small country town in South East Qld and was raised on a beef and grain farm. I learned from a young age to handmake clothing, toys, and food. I also learned an appreciation of creating handmade items and the effort involved. Throughout my journey I have met many other women with a similar outlook and decided to create a shop stocking beautiful, quality, eco friendly items. Our products are created to last and to make mum’s lives easier.
All Pepper Tree Kids goodies are designed in Australia and many are also locally made. All items stocked are from women, mostly Aussie mum owned businesses. We try as much as possible to avoid plastic and use compostable items.
